Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain scalable TypeScript/JavaScript backend services.
Build and operate cloud-native applications using AWS Serverless services including API Gateway, Lambda, DynamoDB, and VPC.
Design REST APIs and event-driven architectures for distributed backend systems.
Build and deploy production-grade Generative AI applications, including RAG-based solutions and AI-powered workflows.
Engineer prompts, optimize LLM applications, and conduct model evaluations, benchmarking, and performance analysis.
Implement AI observability, monitoring, quality evaluation, WebSocket-based real-time communication, and automated unit and integration testing.
Maintain deployment workflows, troubleshoot and optimize application performance and reliability, and contribute to architecture decisions.
Collaborate with Product, Engineering, and AI teams to deliver AI-powered features.

3–6 years of professional software engineering experience.
Strong TypeScript/JavaScript expertise and hands-on experience with AWS Serverless services, API Gateway, Lambda, DynamoDB, and VPC Networking.
Experience designing distributed backend systems using REST APIs, microservices, and event-driven architectures.
Experience with WebSockets, real-time communication, unit testing, and integration testing.
Experience building and supporting production-grade Generative AI applications using LLMs such as OpenAI, Anthropic, Gemini, or open-source LLMs.
Experience with prompt engineering, LLM evaluations, vector databases, embeddings, and RAG architectures.
Familiarity with LangChain, LangGraph, LlamaIndex, and Semantic Kernel.
Strong software engineering fundamentals, design patterns, system design, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Preferred experience with AI agent frameworks, agentic workflows, LangSmith, Ragas, DeepEval, AI observability, LLM cost and latency optimization, multi-agent systems, and advanced GenAI architectures.
