Base Salary

$92k - $138k/yr

Responsibilities

  • Design, architect, develop, administer, integrate, and test embedded and real-time software systems.
  • Develop and debug embedded real-time, multi-threaded applications, including cryptographic software code bases.
  • Integrate low-level firmware and software in complex embedded applications.
  • Analyze system capabilities and resolve issues involving program intent, output requirements, input data acquisition, programming techniques, and controls.
  • Collaborate with Systems Engineering, Digital Engineering, Hardware, and Integration & Test teams in an Agile software development environment.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering or another STEM discipline with two years of related experience, or a master's degree with zero years of experience.
  • Proficiency in C/C++ and object-oriented programming.
  • Proficiency across the formal software lifecycle from requirements through testing.
  • Experience developing and debugging embedded real-time systems and integrating low-level firmware and software in complex real-time multi-threaded applications.
  • Familiarity with static analysis and unit testing.
  • Experience using Jira, Bitbucket, and Git and working in an Agile software development process.
  • An interim U.S. Government Secret clearance is required to start, with the ability to obtain and maintain an active DoD Secret clearance.
  • Preferred qualifications include experience with Software Defined Radios, Avionics Operating System, Xilinx platforms, Yocto/PetaLinux, communication protocols, TCP/IP, cryptographic software libraries, Rust, Xilinx tools, HAIPE, OTNK, IKE, NSA security standards, Linux kernel drivers, assembly language, bare-metal device drivers, PowerPC, VHDL/Verilog/FPGA, IBM engineering tools, and Green Hills AdaMulti.
  • U.S. citizenship is required for positions involving government clearance.
