Responsibilities
- Develop, integrate, and test embedded software across the full software development life cycle.
- Develop multithreaded software for real-time, flight-critical, safety-critical, medical, or mission-critical applications as applicable.
- Identify moderate execution defects through code review and understand how embedded software fits into larger systems.
- Document, capture, and present software architecture components using modeling or diagramming tools.
- Collaborate within an Integrated Product Team and interface with employees and management across organizational levels.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in a STEM discipline and 2 years of related engineering experience, or a master’s degree in a STEM discipline and 0 years of related engineering experience.
- Experience with the full software development life cycle, object-oriented programming, embedded system programming, software integration, and testing.
- Experience with some of C, C++, Java, and Python.
- Experience with at least two of Jira, GitLab, Docker, Fortify, Coverity, or Black Duck.
- Active in-scope U.S. Government Top Secret clearance.
- Ability to obtain and maintain initial Special Program Access (SAP/PAR) before employment begins.
- Preferred qualifications include real-time mission-critical software experience, current SAP access, code-based defect identification, software architecture documentation, and strong communication skills.
