Responsibilities
- Analyze customer safety requirements and support technical safety concept and technical safety development.
- Manage functional-safety interactions with internal and external stakeholders and support proofs of concept, RFQs, and technical software architecture bring-up.
- Develop functional-safety software architecture and create SWE1–SWE6 work products.
- Provide technical guidance on safety mechanisms, safe states, and other functional-safety aspects.
- Support competency teams in designing software and system architectures in accordance with ISO 26262.
- Work on product testing, safety analysis, and tool qualification.
Requirements
- BE/B.Tech in Electrical, Electronics, Instrumentation, or Robotics.
- 11–12 years of experience with hands-on software development, safety analysis, and tool qualification.
- Embedded C and automotive product development-process knowledge.
- Deep understanding of ASPICE and ISO 26262, particularly Parts 4, 5, and 6.
- Experience in functional safety and testing automotive products.
- Strong communication skills and ability to provide technical guidance across teams.
