Responsibilities

  • Review software requirements and select appropriate test methods and concepts.
  • Create test plans, test specifications, test protocols, test environments, and development tests.
  • Develop automated tests on HIL simulators using a Python framework.
  • Perform measurement analysis, fault diagnosis, and test-metric analysis.
  • Work hands-on with target electronic hardware and collaborate with the broader development team.
  • Support testing of embedded automotive systems involving microcontrollers, CAN, UDS diagnostics, and battery management systems.

Requirements

  • 4–10 years of experience.
  • B.E., B.Tech, or M.Tech with Electrical or Electronics as the main discipline; other disciplines are not accepted.
  • Good knowledge of Python, electronic circuits, measuring devices, CAN protocol, and UDS diagnostics.
  • Good knowledge of Vector toolchains including CANoe, CANape, and VFlash.
  • Knowledge of microcontrollers, embedded C, debugging tools, Trace32, UDE, Ozone, JFlash, or equivalent tools.
  • Experience or understanding of ASPICE and ISO 26262.
  • Familiarity with Polarion, JIRA, and Bitbucket/Git.
  • Fluent English and strong verbal, written, interpersonal, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with geographically distributed teams in an Agile environment.
  • Cybersecurity, Jenkins, continuous integration, unit or module testing, and Battery Management Systems experience are desirable.
