Base Salary
$245k - $335k/yr
Responsibilities
- Define and evangelize a technical vision while decomposing complex problems into practical operational solutions.
- Build developer-first platform solutions that improve system resilience, performance, scalability, operability, and ease of use.
- Modernize monolithic systems into microservice architectures and event-driven platforms.
- Define long-term platform strategy, API standards, coding standards, and design standards with engineering and architecture leaders.
- Lead cross-divisional technical projects and architectural reviews.
- Provide hands-on technical contributions while mentoring engineers and strengthening technical expertise across engineering and product communities.
- Create technical communications, code samples, blog posts, and knowledge-sharing materials.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science or a related quantitative field.
- At least seven years of experience in software engineering and solution architecture, enterprise architecture and design patterns, cloud computing, and data architecture.
- Preferred qualifications include a master's degree in Computer Science or Software Engineering.
- Preferred experience includes web technologies, distributed HPC and ML systems, public cloud platforms, databases, networking protocols, third-party distributed systems, system development lifecycles, mentoring, and architectural reviews.
- Preferred programming experience includes Go, Java, JavaScript or TypeScript, Python, Rust, C#, and Scala.
- Expertise in the strategic application of agentic AI coding tools is preferred.
