Base Salary

$126k - $248k/yr

Responsibilities

  • Lead complex projects across the MongoDB ecosystem, including a Search deployment framework within the managed cloud.
  • Set project-level strategy, architect features, and lead projects through successful execution.
  • Design and implement features that improve reliability, performance, security, and efficiency.
  • Perform code reviews and recommend improvements to software development processes.
  • Mentor and influence team members through collaboration and leading by example.
  • Contribute to management control-plane improvements, autoscaling deployments, metrics-based performance analysis, proofs of concept, and new feature design.

Requirements

  • At least 5 years of experience with data management or search systems, ideally involving distributed systems and infrastructure.
  • Experience developing and maintaining concurrent, stateful services.
  • Experience writing features, debugging, and optimizing multithreaded applications in Java.
  • Ability to shape the technical direction of complex systems and lead initiatives collaboratively.
  • Familiarity with LLM-based development tools across the software development lifecycle.
  • Public cloud infrastructure experience, including hardware, capacity, and high availability, is a bonus.
