Base Salary

$149k - $224k/yr

Responsibilities

  • Build performant frontend experiences with TypeScript and React, including accessible and cross-browser-compatible component architecture.
  • Design and implement scalable backend APIs and services using cloud-native architectures for millions of event attendees.
  • Develop framework-agnostic micro frontend components, component libraries, and backend service modules.
  • Architect and optimize end-to-end data flows from database design and API contracts through frontend state management and UI rendering.
  • Use AI-powered development tools and automation to accelerate delivery, improve code quality, and prototype solutions.
  • Optimize application performance through code splitting, caching, database query optimization, and API efficiency improvements.
  • Own technical quality across code quality, performance, security, and reliability while contributing across the software development lifecycle.
  • Mentor engineers through code reviews, architectural guidance, and learning sessions, and partner with designers and product managers.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of professional software development experience with demonstrated full-stack capabilities in production environments.
  • Proven experience using AI-powered development tools such as Claude, Cursor, or GitHub Copilot.
  • Expertise in TypeScript, React, Next.js, modern JavaScript, and responsive web design.
  • Experience designing APIs with RESTful and GraphQL approaches and developing microservices and distributed systems.
  • Experience with AWS services including Lambda, DynamoDB, AppSync, and API Gateway.
  • Experience building component libraries, design systems, and micro frontend architectures.
  • Understanding of web performance optimization and security best practices, plus experience with CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and monitoring tools such as Splunk, New Relic, and CloudWatch.
  • Ability to mentor engineers, make architectural decisions, own complex projects, and communicate across functions.
  • Preferred: experience with serverless architectures, event-driven systems, WebSockets, Server-Sent Events, GraphQL subscriptions, CDN optimization, edge computing, A/B testing, feature flagging, multi-team technical initiatives, platform modernization, or technical migrations.
