Base Salary
$180k - $368k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, build, deploy, and maintain resilient, scalable systems critical to customer operations.
- Define and drive long-term technical architecture and strategy across the organization.
- Design solutions that anticipate future needs and clearly communicate technical direction.
- Sponsor and mentor Staff and Senior Staff engineers.
- Improve engineering productivity as a force multiplier.
- Diagnose performance bottlenecks and implement system optimizations.
- Use AI development tools to improve workflow, velocity, and engineering approaches.
Requirements
- Demonstrated experience delivering and operating mission-critical production services at scale.
- Experience owning high-throughput systems and navigating distributed architecture.
- Ability to define sophisticated project roadmaps and drive technical direction toward execution.
- Ability to make trusted technical decisions balancing immediate outcomes with long-term strategy.
- Humility, empathy, respect for peers, and a growth-oriented approach to engineering.
- Ability to mentor senior engineering talent and act as a technical authority.
