Base Salary
$223k - $305k/yr
Responsibilities
- Own and evolve the CI/CD architecture and developer-facing experience.
- Improve pipeline reliability, speed, and predictability.
- Define paved paths that enable product teams to ship safely without deep platform knowledge.
- Own the delivery process end-to-end from code merge to production.
- Champion canary deployments and automated rollbacks.
- Build tooling that makes deployments observable, repeatable, and self-service.
- Own and evolve the Internal Developer Portal and its surrounding self-service experience.
- Partner with Cloud Platform teams on infrastructure while owning developer-facing delivery.
- Embed AI tooling into delivery workflows to create lasting productivity gains.
Requirements
- Strong experience in Platform Engineering or Developer Experience roles focused on CI/CD and delivery, ideally at companies with more than 200 engineers.
- Experience owning and operating a CI/CD platform at the administration and architecture level, including security, configuration, and enablement.
- Proven ability to design and operate delivery systems at scale.
- Hands-on software development experience, including production-quality Go.
- Experience or strong interest in progressive delivery practices such as canary deployments and automated rollbacks.
- Familiarity with cloud-native architectures and Kubernetes-based platforms.
- Interest in using AI to improve engineering velocity, quality, and developer experience.
- Strong collaboration skills and ability to influence across teams.
- Preferred: experience building or maintaining an Internal Developer Portal in production.
- Preferred: experience working in both Software Engineering and Platform Engineering teams.
- Preferred: interest in security and understanding of RBAC and OAuth.
