Responsibilities
- Diagnose business problems and confirm whether AI is the right intervention.
- Own AI initiatives from stakeholder discovery to implementation and iteration.
- Design and develop AI-powered solutions quickly, focusing on practical outcomes.
- Improve organizational flow by reducing bottlenecks and increasing throughput.
- Integrate AI capabilities into existing systems using APIs and orchestration tools.
- Leverage GitLab's AI offerings and provide feedback to R&D.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand constraints and align on outcomes.
- Define and track success through business and flow metrics.
- Contribute to technical direction by evaluating tools and creating reusable foundations.
Requirements
- Strong proficiency in at least one modern scripting language (Python, JavaScript/TypeScript).
- Deep experience with modern AI technologies and prompt engineering.
- Understanding of model selection and cost-performance trade-offs.
- Familiarity with enterprise business systems like CRM and marketing automation tools.
- Ability to map workflows and identify bottlenecks in complex processes.
- Experience owning complex initiatives from discovery through delivery.
- Ability to scope MVPs and prioritize ruthlessly for business outcomes.
