Responsibilities
- Lead complex, multi-system AI deployments end-to-end, including scoping, architecture, building, validation, production deployment, and customer relationship management.
- Own and customize the AI workshop program for the assigned pod and translate workshop outputs into production requirements.
- Architect multi-agent solutions using coordination patterns suited to customer workflows and compliance requirements.
- Design customer- and industry-specific MCP resource packs that provide personalized intelligence to connected AI surfaces.
- Own Deployment Kit quality and documentation for solutions consultants and partners.
- Lead Solutions Enablement Sprints by transferring AI deployment patterns through training materials and certification criteria.
- Drive the intelligence loop by authoring strategic memos, presenting field findings, contributing Agent Bricks and Skills, and filing platform improvement RFCs.
- Mentor junior FDEs through customer engagements, code reviews, and Deployment Kit quality reviews.
Requirements
- 6–10+ years of production software engineering experience, including 3+ years deploying AI/ML to production.
- Deep Python experience and strong TypeScript/JavaScript skills.
- Proven experience leading complex enterprise technical engagements, managing customer relationships, navigating security reviews, and delivering production systems.
- Deep production LLM experience involving multi-agent orchestration, MCP/tool use, RAG optimization, evaluation frameworks, and agent deployment at scale.
- System architecture expertise across enterprise systems, cloud infrastructure, and AI services.
- Experience creating reusable technical assets, including architecture documents, runbooks, strategic memos, and training materials.
- Ability to mentor junior FDEs and communicate technical systems to both executives and engineers.
- Ability to travel domestically and internationally approximately 25–50% of the time.
- Eligible to work in the UK on an ongoing basis.
- BS or MS in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent industry experience.
- Experience founding or scaling an FDE or solutions engineering function is preferred.
- Technical founder experience and experience with Databricks, AWS Bedrock, or Temporal are preferred.
- Healthcare, financial services, or government domain knowledge is preferred.
- Experience with Strands SDK, LangChain, or open-source MCP servers is preferred.
- German or French proficiency and familiarity with AI governance, ethics, GDPR, or the UK/EU AI Act are advantageous.
