Base Salary

$190k - $210k/yr

Responsibilities

  • Lead, coach, and mentor the DevOps team while setting goals, providing feedback, and fostering continuous improvement.
  • Oversee daily DevOps operations, including build and release management, CI/CD pipelines, environment management, and infrastructure reliability.
  • Drive technical decisions and provide guidance on tooling, automation strategies, architecture, and deployment practices.
  • Collaborate with Engineering, QA, Product, Security, and Infrastructure teams to prioritize work and ensure seamless deployments.
  • Identify automation opportunities and implement solutions that reduce manual work and improve delivery speed.
  • Ensure scalability, performance, security, monitoring, alerting, and observability are incorporated into DevOps solutions.
  • Drive DevOps strategy, root-cause analysis, operational improvements, and reliable software delivery across the organization.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of experience in DevOps, SRE, or Infrastructure Engineering.
  • Proven expertise with CI/CD tools, particularly Jenkins, and scripting with Bash, Groovy, and Python.
  • Strong experience with Terraform, infrastructure as code, and cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure.
  • Hands-on experience with Amazon EKS and Kubernetes-based deployments.
  • Proficiency with containerization tools such as Docker.
  • Experience with relational databases such as SQL Server and CockroachDB, including database CI/CD and configuration tasks.
  • Familiarity with monitoring, logging, and alerting tools including Kloudfuse, Sumo Logic, Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog, or the ELK stack.
  • Strong experience with artifact repository tools such as Nexus and JFrog.
  • Deep understanding of deployment pipelines, infrastructure automation, and system security best practices.
  • Ability to make architectural and operational decisions, lead engineers, translate technical concepts for nontechnical stakeholders, and drive reliable, scalable solutions.
  • Experience in a fast-paced product or platform engineering environment is preferred.
  • Exposure to security, compliance, and audit requirements in CI/CD and infrastructure is preferred.
  • Cloud or Kubernetes-related certifications, such as AWS DevOps Engineer or CKA, are preferred.
  • Experience integrating DevOps practices into SDLC and cross-functional workflows is preferred.
