Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, and deliver scalable backend services and security capabilities using Golang and cloud-native technologies.
- Build and optimize distributed systems for large-scale, high-volume deployment environments.
- Develop and operate solutions using Kubernetes and container technologies such as Docker and Podman.
- Own features from requirements and architecture through implementation, testing, deployment, and production support.
- Develop CI/CD pipelines and automated test frameworks.
- Collaborate with architecture, product management, engineering, customers, and customer-facing teams on security solutions.
Requirements
- At least 8 years of professional software engineering experience focused on application or backend development.
- At least 3 years of hands-on production software development experience using Golang.
- At least 2 years of experience developing or operating applications in Kubernetes and containerized environments using Docker or Podman.
- At least 2 years of experience designing and implementing distributed, cloud-native systems using established software architecture and design principles.
- At least 2 years of experience developing CI/CD pipelines and automated test frameworks, including GitLab or an equivalent platform.
- Preferred experience includes security, SIEM, observability, data platforms, threat detection, high-scale distributed systems, large data volumes, event-driven architectures, globally deployed services, and AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Ability to independently drive complex technical initiatives and collaborate with architecture, product, engineering, and customer stakeholders.
- Experience using AI tools, frameworks, or AI-assisted engineering practices is preferred.
