Responsibilities
- Guide all technical aspects of development including requirements definition, design, implementation, unit testing, and integration.
- Train LLM models on Waymo use cases through prompt engineering.
- Apply multimedia ML techniques such as image recognition and video analysis.
- Build ML data pipelines to assess model precision and recall.
- Design, build, and productionize AI solutions using Google Cloud and advanced ML approaches.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams like Operations and Remote Assistance.
Requirements
- BS degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience.
- 6+ years of experience with backend technologies such as C++ and Spanner.
- Proven ability to set technical direction for an engineering team.
- Experience managing projects across multiple teams.
- Proficiency in Python and/or C++.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
