Base Salary

Responsibilities
- Configure and maintain Employee Central Payroll and Workforce Software, including schemas, PCRs, wage types, payroll controls, off-cycle processing, and time configurations.
- Own U.S. payroll configuration for earnings, deductions, garnishments, retroactive pay, third-party remittances, tax models, and year-end processing.
- Support SAP BSI tax updates, regulatory changes, payroll calculation troubleshooting, and compliance requirements.
- Support integrations and interfaces among SuccessFactors Employee Central, Employee Central Payroll, Workforce Software, SAP CATS, finance platforms, and external vendors.
- Manage vendor files and resolve integration, monitoring, and file-processing issues.
- Serve as payroll functional lead by translating requirements, reviewing designs, and guiding developers.
- Lead unit, integration, regression, year-end, acceptance, parallel, and other payroll testing activities.
- Partner with HR, Payroll, Tax, Finance, and IT stakeholders on projects, incidents, enhancements, and delivery using ServiceNow and Jira.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in information systems, computer science, accounting, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Seven or more years of experience supporting enterprise payroll systems with direct, hands-on configuration responsibility.
- Employee Central Payroll configuration experience or strong SAP ECC payroll configuration experience transferable to Employee Central Payroll.
- Working knowledge of SAP BSI and tax authority maintenance and update cycles.
- Deep U.S. payroll knowledge covering multi-state taxation, reciprocity, garnishments, unions, imputed income, retroactive pay, W-2 processing, third-party reconciliation, and quarter-end and year-end requirements.
- Deep U.S. timesheet knowledge, including non-exempt rules, FLSA rules, union support, and payroll-system partnerships.
- Experience troubleshooting payroll integrations and interface errors across connected systems.
- Ability to partner with business stakeholders and explain payroll outcomes clearly to nontechnical audiences.
- Preferred qualifications include SuccessFactors Employee Central data models, business rules and replication; SAP CATS; Workforce Software; large multi-entity U.S. payroll; and payroll migration, upgrade, or transformation experience.
