Responsibilities
- Design, develop, maintain, and improve large-scale software applications.
- Build scalable and maintainable solutions using Java, Spring Boot, React.js, microservices, and AWS.
- Develop unit tests and promote high code quality, reliability, and maintainability.
- Implement CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure as code using tools such as CloudFormation or Terraform.
- Design cloud architectures and integrate solutions with business, technology, and product stakeholder systems.
- Use AWS services including EC2, ECS, S3, Lambda, RDS, KMS, ELB, SNS, SQS, and IAM.
- Collaborate with engineers, business analysts, product managers, and business stakeholders on complex technical problems.
- Identify and mitigate risks, strengthen controls, and support security-compliant software delivery.
- Lead teams or guide team members through complex assignments, depending on the role's leadership structure.
- Mentor junior team members and contribute to technology communities and knowledge sharing.
Requirements
- Experience designing and building large-scale applications with Java, Spring Boot, React.js, microservices, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Experience with AWS and solving complex business issues using scalable cloud solutions.
- Experience with automation and infrastructure as code, including CloudFormation or Terraform.
- Demonstrable expertise with AWS EC2, ECS, S3, Lambda, RDS, KMS, ELB, SNS, SQS, and IAM.
- Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, Bitbucket, or GitLab.
- Knowledge of Bash, PowerShell, Python, or Java programming and scripting.
- Working knowledge of Linux, networking, routing, and firewalls.
- Understanding of cloud architecture, design, security compliance, and unit testing.
- Strong communication, stakeholder management, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
- Ability to mentor and guide junior team members and work collaboratively.
- Ability to manage risk and controls, communicate complex information, influence stakeholders, and support change and transformation.
