Responsibilities
- Conduct technical discovery calls to understand customer requirements, pain points, infrastructure, and environments.
- Lead or participate in product demonstrations and proof-of-concept activities.
- Translate customer requirements into tailored technical solutions, configurations, and integration plans.
- Design solution architectures and create technical documentation, diagrams, integration guides, proposals, and PoC plans.
- Deliver technical presentations focused on business value to customers and external stakeholders.
- Support RFP/RFI responses, technical questionnaires, bids, and tenders.
- Collaborate with Account Executives, Customer Success Managers, Product Managers, product teams, and engineering teams.
- Provide technical and business-value guidance before and during the sales cycle and act as a trusted technical advisor.
- Travel approximately 20–25%.
Requirements
- A degree in Computer Information Systems, Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related technical field.
- At least 5 years of experience as a Solutions Engineer or technical salesperson, or equivalent applicable experience as a product manager, engineer, technical support agent, or enterprise software administrator.
- General IT or information systems knowledge, including server administration, server operating system configuration, TCP/IP networking, LAN/WAN technologies, network design, PKI, firewall management, IDS/IPS, vulnerability management, and network scanners.
- Familiarity with cryptographic principles, digital certificates, and PKI concepts.
- Knowledge of AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, Oracle Cloud, and Kubernetes.
- Experience or familiarity with ServiceNow, GitHub, and REST API integrations.
- Hands-on scripting or automation experience with Bash, PowerShell, Python, or similar languages.
- Experience with infrastructure automation tools such as Terraform, Ansible, Puppet, or Chef.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, presentation, analytical, organizational, customer-focus, and business-acumen skills; fluency in English.
- Cybersecurity certifications such as CISSP, GSEC, or CCSP are preferred.
- Experience with certificate management, cryptographic tools, code signing, load balancers, secure key storage, SSO, SAML, or OpenID is preferred.
