Responsibilities
- Capture and analyze detailed client requirements.
- Design implementable, manageable, and maintainable solutions for New Era’s technical team.
- Produce architectural designs and technical analysis and advice.
- Document business requirements and prepare proposals, quotes, and tender responses with the sales team.
- Create scopes of work, design and quoting documentation, and statements of work.
- Support sales engagements by attending client meetings and presenting New Era’s technical capabilities.
- Demonstrate, present, and clearly articulate solutions to clients.
- Collaborate with sales, technical, and project management teams to maintain consistent communication and meet client requirements.
- Assist with discovery of future work requirements and projects.
- Maintain current knowledge of software and hardware design, infrastructure, architecture, and relevant certifications.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of relevant experience.
- Proven experience as a Platforms and Cloud Transformation Architect.
- Experience designing, implementing, and troubleshooting modern technology solutions.
- Strong architecture and requirements analysis skills with broad IT infrastructure knowledge.
- Experience in client-facing or consultative roles and presenting modern, secure, supportable solutions with clear migration approaches.
- Excellent technical documentation, communication, analytical problem-solving, time management, and deadline-management skills.
- Ability to lead discussions, share knowledge, work collaboratively, and perform under pressure.
- Degree in Software Engineering, IT, Computer Science, or equivalent experience.
- Relevant certifications such as Microsoft, Fortinet, Citrix, Cisco, or VMware.
