Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end solution design and architecture for industrial data engagements.
- Define data models, integration patterns, system architectures, and industrial data platform strategies.
- Lead client-facing project implementations and guide development teams during delivery.
- Oversee data ingestion, contextualization, visualization workflows, ingestion pipelines, APIs, and integration services.
- Establish development standards, CI/CD practices, code quality expectations, quality assurance, and compliance with best practices.
- Collaborate with clients to translate business needs into technical requirements and present architecture to technical and non-technical audiences.
- Serve as the primary technical advisor for clients adopting industrial data solutions.
- Mentor junior architects, developers, and engineers and contribute to internal knowledge sharing.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
- Typically 6-10 years of related experience working for a systems integrator or consulting organization.
- Strong practical experience implementing industrial data systems, including historians, SCADA, PLCs, MES, or ERP.
- Experience leading technical teams and managing client-facing delivery.
- 5+ years of experience in solution architecture, data engineering, or software development preferred.
- Hands-on experience with Cognite Data Fusion, FactoryTalk Data Mosaix, PTC ThingWorx, or similar industrial data platforms preferred.
- Proficiency with cloud technologies, APIs, and data modeling preferred.
- Experience with Python, SQL, and RESTful APIs preferred.
- Familiarity with time-series data, contextualization, industrial domains, machine learning model development, MLOps, data governance, access management, cybersecurity, asset performance management, production monitoring, or advanced process control preferred.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to interact with executive and technical stakeholders.
- Certifications in cloud and industrial data platforms and prior consulting or systems integrator experience are preferred.
- Willingness to travel up to 50%.
