Sr Lead Software Engineer - Agentic AI Engineer

Responsibilities
- Use AI-assisted coding tools to write, review, debug, and refactor production code.
- Design, build, and deploy RAG pipelines, agentic AI systems, and LLM-powered workflows.
- Architect AI systems for scalability, cost management, latency, privacy, hallucination mitigation, observability, identity, guardrails, and tracing.
- Develop, troubleshoot, review, and improve secure, high-quality production software across distributed systems.
- Automate recurring remediation opportunities and improve operational stability.
- Lead technical evaluation sessions with vendors, startups, and internal teams.
- Influence stakeholders across teams and own technical outcomes end to end.
Requirements
- Formal training or certification in software engineering concepts and 5+ years of applied experience.
- Daily hands-on fluency with AI-assisted development tools such as GitHub Copilot, Claude Code, and Cursor.
- Hands-on experience building production or near-production AI/ML features or products, including RAG systems, AI agents, prompt engineering, or LLM integrations.
- 3+ years of hands-on experience with AWS cloud services.
- Proficiency in Python and experience with Django or another web backend framework.
- Experience with React or another modern UI framework.
- Strong experience with Terraform and infrastructure-as-code principles.
- Strong understanding of system design, data structures, and algorithms.
- Ability to work effectively in fast-changing, ambiguous environments and solve problems using structured, evidence-based approaches.
- Preferred experience includes LangChain, LlamaIndex, CrewAI, Google ADK, vector databases, embedding models, LLM evaluation, guardrails, responsible AI, Databricks, CI/CD, DevOps practices, Azure, or GCP.
