Responsibilities

  • Use AI-assisted development tools to write, review, debug, and refactor code and critically validate AI-generated outputs.
  • Evaluate emerging AI tools and techniques and drive adoption when they improve productivity and quality.
  • Design, build, and deploy RAG pipelines, agentic AI systems, and LLM-powered workflows.
  • Architect AI systems for scalability, cost, latency, data privacy, hallucination mitigation, observability, identity, guardrails, and tracing.
  • Develop, troubleshoot, review, and maintain secure, high-quality production software across distributed systems.
  • Automate recurring issue remediation and improve operational stability.
  • Lead evaluations with vendors, startups, and internal teams regarding architecture and technical applicability.
  • Influence stakeholders across teams, align technical decisions, and own outcomes end to end.

Requirements

  • Formal training or certification in software engineering concepts and 5+ years of applied experience.
  • Daily integrated fluency with AI-assisted development tools such as GitHub Copilot, Claude Code, or Cursor.
  • Hands-on experience building production or near-production AI/ML features or products, including RAG systems, AI agents, prompt engineering, or LLM integration.
  • At least 3 years of hands-on experience with AWS cloud services.
  • Proficiency in Python.
  • Experience with Django or another web backend framework and React or another modern UI framework.
  • Strong experience with Terraform and infrastructure-as-code principles.
  • Strong understanding of system design, data structures, and algorithms.
  • Preferred experience with LangChain, LlamaIndex, CrewAI, Google ADK, vector databases such as Pinecone, Weaviate, pgvector, or Chroma, embedding models, LLM evaluation, guardrails, responsible AI, and Databricks.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD and DevOps practices; knowledge of Azure or GCP is a plus.
  • Ability to work through ambiguity, solve problems systematically, and deliver at speed.
