Base Salary
$200k - $275k/yr
Responsibilities
- Lead discovery and uncover strategic enterprise customers’ business and technical challenges.
- Translate complex technical concepts and Okta differentiators into business value for executive and technical stakeholders.
- Partner with Enterprise Account Executives to run value-based sales motions and secure technical wins.
- Lead technical evaluations, overcome objections, and drive complex B2B SaaS deals to technical closure.
- Advise customers on identity security, modern identity standards, Zero Trust Architecture, and AI-agent visibility and control.
- Build consultative relationships with CISOs, IT security leaders, identity engineers, enterprise architects, PAM administrators, and application owners.
Requirements
- 8+ years of recent experience in a customer-facing pre-sales role such as Sales Engineer, Solutions Consultant, or Pre-Sales Engineer.
- Proven success attaining quotas and securing technical wins with large, complex strategic accounts.
- Strong executive communication, presentation, storytelling, active listening, and consultative sales skills.
- Ability to rapidly learn enterprise technologies and architectures.
- Broad knowledge of identity security, including identity governance, privileged access management, threat protection, authentication protocols, and Zero Trust Architecture.
- Hands-on experience positioning Identity Governance and Administration, Privileged Access Management, and identity security automation is highly desired.
- Experience with or strong understanding of artificial intelligence tools, AI agents, LLM integrations, and non-human identity security implications is highly desired.
