Base Salary
$168k - $250k/yr
Responsibilities
- Lead technical strategy and execution across complex, multi-workstream customer AI programs.
- Architect and build enterprise-scale AI systems, including multi-agent orchestration, retrieval systems, and decision intelligence platforms.
- Define testing, evaluation, observability, production-readiness, and incident-response standards for AI systems.
- Create reusable engineering patterns, platforms, and accelerators that improve delivery across the FDE practice.
- Mentor junior FDEs and contribute to interviewing, hiring, system design coaching, and customer engagement coaching.
- Identify opportunities to expand customer AI adoption and communicate technical concepts to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Travel up to 25%.
Requirements
- 5+ years of non-internship professional software development experience.
- 5+ years of programming experience with at least one software programming language.
- 5+ years of experience leading design or architecture for reliable and scalable new and existing systems.
- Experience mentoring, serving as a tech lead, or leading an engineering team.
- Current, active US government TS/SCI security clearance with Polygraph.
- Experience communicating technical concepts to technical and non-technical audiences, including senior stakeholders.
- Experience leading agentic and spec-driven development at production scale; AI agent development experience is a plus.
- Experience with evaluation frameworks, agent tooling, retrieval-augmented generation pipelines, and prompt engineering.
- Preferred: bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent, AWS Services experience, enterprise-scale AI/ML application experience, startup or founder experience, complex customer production delivery, React, TypeScript, Python, Go, customer-facing technical project leadership, and 3+ years in an Agile, startup, or rapidly scaling environment.
