Responsibilities

  • Design and develop mission-critical web applications and financial tools.
  • Partner with business, operations, and engineering teams to implement technology solutions.
  • Develop and deploy data solutions and work with SQL, stored procedures, and databases.
  • Decompose, debug, tune, test, refactor, and modernize legacy processes.
  • Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins on AWS or Azure.
  • Research and resolve technical challenges while learning new technologies.
  • Collaborate across multiple teams to transform Fidelity Workplace’s operational systems.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, software engineering, or a related field.
  • 8+ years of experience in technology, including at least 4 years developing and deploying data solutions.
  • Strong understanding of data analysis concepts and tools such as SQL and stored procedures.
  • Required SQL experience; familiarity with Oracle, MS SQL, and other databases preferred.
  • Experience with systems analysis, legacy process decomposition, debugging, tuning, test data preparation, and refactoring.
  • Hands-on experience with XML, JSON, Java, Unix/Linux environments, and shell scripting.
  • Experience implementing and managing CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins on AWS or Azure.
  • Prior Java development, database experience, and familiarity with ETL methods and tools such as Informatica are preferred.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, collaboration, written communication, and verbal communication skills.
