Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, deploy, operate, maintain, and improve high-scale software applications.
- Develop enterprise applications and microservices using Java and cloud technologies.
- Apply serverless computing, microservices architecture, CI/CD, and infrastructure-as-code practices.
- Integrate systems with internal platforms including Data Fabric and CSA Toolset.
- Contribute to technology roadmaps, architecture discussions, sprint activities, and project priorities.
- Triage, debug, track, and resolve product or system issues affecting networks, service operations, and quality.
- Research and develop software applications that extend and improve Equifax solutions.
- Collaborate on scalability, data access, and information management challenges.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
- At least five years of software engineering experience, with heavy specialization in the Java ecosystem for enterprise applications.
- At least five years of experience writing, debugging, and troubleshooting code.
- At least two years of cloud technology experience with GCP, AWS, or Azure.
- At least two years of experience designing and developing Java microservices using Spring Boot, GCP SDKs, and GKE/Kubernetes.
- At least five years of experience deploying and releasing software with Jenkins CI/CD pipelines, plus knowledge of infrastructure-as-code concepts, Helm Charts, and Terraform.
- Preferred experience with Copilot, hands-on agentic AI, and big-data processing using Dataflow, Apache Beam, Bigtable, BigQuery, Pub/Sub, GCS, Composer, or Airflow.
- Ability to work independently, respond to shifting priorities, and collaborate effectively across teams.
