Base Salary
$109k - $204k/yr
Responsibilities
- Collaborate on the planning, design, development, and use of software systems and CI/CD pipelines.
- Participate in the full software development lifecycle independently and as part of an Agile team.
- Solve complex software problems and deliver innovative, high-quality solutions on schedule.
- Demonstrate software progress to customers and collaborate with support teams to resolve issues, establish standards, and improve efficiency.
- Support software modernization, capability development, integration, verification, and testing activities.
Requirements
- Principal level: bachelor’s degree or higher in STEM or a related field with 5+ years of experience, or a master’s degree in STEM with 3 years of experience.
- Senior Principal level: bachelor’s degree or higher in STEM or a related field with 8+ years of experience, or a master’s degree in STEM with 6 years of experience.
- Understanding of software design principles and proficiency in object-oriented programming with Java, C, or C++.
- Experience with version control systems, Kubernetes, CI/CD tools, cloud services development, and Linux.
- Active U.S. Department of Defense Secret security clearance and ability to work full-time on-site in Huntsville, Alabama.
- Ability to travel up to 20% and communicate effectively with technical teams.
- Preferred experience includes Sense and Warn and Intercept, Counter-Unmanned Aerial System architectures, end-to-end software initiatives, technical leadership, software verification testing, Software Test Plans, Test/Inspection Reports, SD-WAN, Ansible, Python, and ArgoCD.
