Base Salary
$109k - $204k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, document, test, and debug software applications and systems implementing logical and mathematical solutions.
- Develop and maintain software products across multiple baselines as part of Scaled Agile Framework Scrum teams.
- Perform software development and upgrades in multiple programming languages while minimizing changes to operational behavior.
- Create and update documentation using Markdown and collaboration tools.
- Support unit and functional testing, code coverage analysis, static code analysis, and test automation improvements.
- Collaborate with systems and test engineers to build secure, scalable command-and-control software.
Requirements
- Principal level requires 5 years of relevant experience with a bachelor's degree, 3 years with a master's degree, or 1 year with a PhD; Senior Principal level requires 8, 6, or 4 years respectively.
- Bachelor's degree in a STEM field, master's degree, or PhD as applicable to the experience level.
- Strong object-oriented software development experience with Java and C++.
- Proficiency in Linux-based development and runtime environments, with experience using Bash and Python.
- Experience with Git and GitLab for configuration management and source control.
- Experience with Agile SAFe and Atlassian tools including Jira and Confluence.
- Active Secret clearance required for start.
- Preferred qualifications include MBSE experience with Cameo or similar tools; DevSecOps and CI/CD experience; RTI/DDS middleware experience; relevant U.S. Army systems and engagement or track-management experience; and CompTIA Security+.
