Responsibilities
- Manage designated technology application portfolios, including configuration, reengineering, enhancements, upgrades, maintenance, monitoring, and support.
- Provide analysis, architectural design, and technical leadership for projects of varying complexity.
- Lead or support software implementations involving laboratory, specimen management, ERP, CRM, and other enterprise systems.
- Serve as a liaison between technical and business departments to ensure requirements and targets are met.
- Participate in software development lifecycle processes and assist with IT process management.
- Provide guidance and knowledge transfer to peers in areas of expertise.
- Participate in a 24x7 on-call rotation for break/fix ticket resolution.
- Maintain application administration, troubleshooting, documentation, communication, and confidentiality standards.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, business, or equivalent experience and training.
- Application and system development and management experience using the .NET Framework, ranging from up to three years for Level I to seven or more years for the Senior level.
- Database experience with technologies such as SQL Server or Oracle.
- Experience with SDLC methodologies and leading software implementation tasks or projects.
- Preferred experience with LIMS, specimen management systems, laboratory instrument interfaces, HL7, laboratory operations, ERP or CRM systems, and project management tools.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, organizational, interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
- Customer-service orientation, attention to detail, adaptability, self-motivation, teamwork, and the ability to handle confidential information.
