Responsibilities
- Design, develop, troubleshoot, review, and debug secure, high-quality production software solutions.
- Lead team adoption of enterprise-authorized AI-assisted engineering practices for coding, code review, testing, troubleshooting, and incident analysis.
- Establish validation standards covering secure coding, peer review, automated testing, correctness, performance, and security of AI-assisted outputs.
- Identify opportunities to automate recurring issue remediation and improve application and system operational stability.
- Lead evaluations with external vendors, startups, and internal teams regarding architectural designs, technical credentials, and system applicability.
Requirements
- Hands-on experience delivering system design, application development, testing, and operational stability.
- Hands-on development experience with Python, Django, React, and Oracle, PostgreSQL, or MySQL.
- Advanced proficiency in one or more programming languages and practical cloud-native experience.
- Experience leading approved AI-assisted software development tools and validating their outputs for correctness, performance, and security.
- Understanding of responsible AI practices, data sensitivity, secure input and output handling, resiliency, and security expectations, including coaching engineers on compliant adoption.
- Proficiency across the software development lifecycle and advanced understanding of application resiliency and security.
- In-depth knowledge of the financial services industry and its IT systems.
