Responsibilities
- Contribute to all phases of end-to-end product and solution validation.
- Collaborate with development and quality assurance teams to improve product quality.
- Suggest and implement improvements to QA processes.
- Work with DevOps and Technical Support teams to troubleshoot customer issues.
- Test networking and security features across complex enterprise-scale environments.
- Lead, mentor, and coach team members.
Requirements
- 4+ years of highly technical QA experience and a BS/MS in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent.
- Strong hands-on L2/L3 networking experience and ability to troubleshoot complex networking issues.
- Strong understanding of VPN technologies, IPSec/SSL VPN protocols, and security standards.
- Expertise with TCP/IP protocols including ARP, IP, ICMP, TCP, UDP, and IPSec VPNs.
- Expertise testing enterprise routing protocols including BGP, OSPF, and EIGRP.
- Expertise with Multicast, IPv6, DNS, NAT, and DHCP networking features.
- Programming experience with Python and REST APIs.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Preferred experience with QA test automation on cloud or network security platforms using AI tools such as Claude.
- Preferred experience with large-scale enterprise network simulation, networking product performance characterization, and complex debugging.
- Preferred understanding of control plane and data plane architecture in networking devices.
- Preferred familiarity with VMware ESXi, QEMU/KVM, and Microsoft Hyper-V.
- Ability to build and maintain complex cloud and networking testbeds.
