Responsibilities
- Build services and APIs for web and mobile apps.
- Collaborate with data scientists to utilize real-time event data.
- Work with infrastructure teams to enhance code deployment processes.
- Develop data access and protection patterns for user data security.
- Maintain cloud infrastructure for Airbnb guests in China.
- Collaborate with various teams to integrate product functionality into customer support tools.
Requirements
- 2-4 years of experience as a Backend or Full-Stack Engineer, or a PhD with no experience.
- Experience in building internal tools.
- Proficiency in languages such as C/C++, Java, C#, Python/Django, Ruby, or JavaScript/TypeScript.
- Familiarity with architectural patterns of large web applications.
- Knowledge of web development best practices like A/B testing and continuous integration.
- Strong understanding of data structures and problem-solving approaches.
- Ability to tackle ambiguous problems independently.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- [Bonus] Frontend development experience is a plus.
