Base Salary
$152k - $221k/yr
Responsibilities
- Provide cloud security and compliance expertise and serve as a trusted technical advisor to customers.
- Design and develop cloud security architectures and solutions that meet or exceed customer security requirements.
- Manage customer stakeholders, build consensus, and lead positive outcomes on Google Cloud Platform.
- Create and deliver best-practice recommendations, tutorials, blog articles, and sample code.
- Travel up to 30% in-region for meetings, technical reviews, and onsite delivery activities.
- Work with Product Management and Product Engineering to improve Google Cloud products and features.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience.
- Six years of experience architecting, developing, or maintaining secure cloud solutions.
- Experience designing cloud enterprise solutions and supporting customer projects through completion.
- Experience coding in one or more general-purpose languages, including Python, Java, Go, C, or C++.
- Preferred experience securing Google Cloud or other cloud environments.
- Preferred experience implementing FedRAMP, PCI, or HIPAA security requirements in cloud environments.
- Preferred understanding of attacks and mitigations involving secure network design, web application security, security assessments and penetration testing, authentication and access control, applied cryptography, security monitoring, intrusion detection, incident response, forensics, or security tooling.
- Understanding of cloud security principles.

- US base pay is listed at $152000-$221000, with a 15% bonus target, equity, and benefits.
- Up to 30% in-region travel is required.
