Base Salary
$200k - $240k/yr
Responsibilities
- Define target-state architecture and modernization roadmaps for asset management and investment operations technology.
- Shape architecture strategies for cloud, data, integration, distributed systems, APIs, event-driven architectures, and AI-enabled solutions.
- Strengthen architecture governance through standards, reference architectures, lifecycle management, design reviews, and risk-based decisions.
- Guide modernization, application rationalization, technology simplification, and reliable platform delivery in a regulated environment.
- Influence architecture decisions and build alignment across business, product, engineering, data, infrastructure, security, and architecture stakeholders.
- Translate business objectives into scalable technology strategies and communicate recommendations to executives.
Requirements
- 15+ years of progressive experience in software engineering, enterprise architecture, solution architecture, or technology leadership.
- Significant experience in financial services, asset management, wealth management, banking, or capital markets.
- Experience as a Principal Architect, Enterprise Architect, Chief Architect, Distinguished Engineer, or comparable senior technical leader.
- Experience defining or implementing AI-enabled strategies involving machine learning, generative AI, intelligent automation, and responsible AI practices.
- Deep knowledge of investment operations, asset management platforms, or financial-services technology across front-, middle-, and back-office workflows.
- Experience with enterprise architecture strategy, large-scale mission-critical platform modernization, cloud architectures, distributed systems, APIs, event-driven architectures, and enterprise integration patterns.
- Expertise in data architecture and engineering, data platforms, analytics, data governance, and enterprise data integration.
- Preferred experience with platform modernization, application rationalization, technology simplification, Agile, DevOps, CI/CD, cloud engineering, platform engineering, and Site Reliability Engineering.
- Strong strategic thinking, decision-making, problem-solving, adaptability, cross-functional collaboration, stakeholder management, influencing, communication, and executive presentation skills.
