Responsibilities
- Support architecture initiatives for information and network security technologies.
- Develop and implement secure cloud account provisioning, access management, encryption, and data-at-rest protection solutions.
- Design and develop secure API-based integrations among cloud provisioning systems, ServiceNow workflows, middleware, and enterprise security platforms.
- Build resilient cloud-native automation services with observability, retry logic, fault tolerance, and secure service-to-service communication.
- Develop and deploy containerized applications using Kubernetes/EKS, CI/CD pipelines, Infrastructure as Code, and DevSecOps practices.
- Support risk assessments, requirements gathering, system architecture, software design, vulnerability response, and security incident response planning.
- Provide technical consultation, complex problem resolution, escalation support, management reports, and merger-and-acquisition technical leadership as assigned.
- Serve as a subject matter expert across multiple information security knowledge areas and advise business partners, developers, architecture teams, and management.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or a related field and at least eight years of experience in systems administration and information security, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Broad experience across access management, network security, network communications, telecommunications, systems development and management, hardware, software, data, and people is required.
- Experience developing integrations and automation services with Python, Java, or Go is preferred.
- Experience building and consuming REST APIs and integrating enterprise security platforms through APIs is preferred.
- Experience with AWS, including EKS, IAM, and secure cloud-native architectures, is preferred.
- Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and containerized application deployments is required.
- Experience with GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or GitLab CI; Terraform; ServiceNow integrations; middleware orchestration; and event-driven architectures using Kafka, SNS, or SQS is preferred.
- Understanding of distributed systems, resiliency patterns, fault tolerance, observability, secure development practices, secrets management, dependency scanning, and code analysis is preferred.
- CISSP or other advanced technical security certifications are strongly preferred.
