Responsibilities
- Design and optimize scalable, stable automation frameworks using Java, RestAssured, JavaScript, and Playwright.
- Integrate automated tests into deployment pipelines and manage containerized test environments using Docker and Kubernetes.
- Architect load and stress testing suites with JMeter or k6 for high-traffic financial events.
- Establish team patterns for using Copilot and LLMs for synthetic data generation and automated root cause analysis.
- Develop test scenarios for transaction idempotency, ledger consistency, and financial calculation validation.
- Provide technical guidance and conduct code reviews focused on clean, reliable code.
- Drive 100% automation coverage of critical-path financial flows within the same sprint.
- Reduce regression time by 40% or more through parallelization and AI-assisted scripting.
Requirements
- 3 to 7 years of experience in SDET or backend development roles.
- Expert proficiency in Java, JavaScript, or Python.
- Experience building or significantly extending automation frameworks with RestAssured or Playwright.
- Strong understanding of relational databases and SQL, plus API security using OAuth and HMAC signing.
- Expert knowledge of Maven, TestNG, and Git, including complex branching and merging.
- Strong fundamentals in data structures and algorithms.
- Preferred: familiarity with AWS services including S3, CloudWatch, and EKS.
- Preferred: experience managing test runners in Docker or Kubernetes.
- Preferred: hands-on experience with JMeter or k6 for load testing.
- Preferred: proactive use of AI tools to increase engineering velocity.
