Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain automated test software for silicon and hardware platforms.
- Develop low-level hardware tests based on architecture specifications and design requirements.
- Build scalable functional, stress, and regression test suites for validation.
- Create reusable software libraries and automation frameworks to enhance validation efficiency.
- Collaborate with engineers to convert technical requirements into automated test solutions.
- Analyze test results and debug data to identify issues and support root cause analysis.
- Investigate automation failures and improve tool robustness and usability.
- Contribute to continuous integration environments and automated validation infrastructure.
- Produce clear technical documentation on tooling and validation methodologies.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Experience in software development using Python, C++, or similar languages.
- Strong Linux software development experience.
- Experience creating automated test frameworks for hardware or embedded systems.
- Ability to interpret hardware specifications and develop automated validation solutions.
- Experience debugging hardware and software interactions.
- Familiarity with Git and modern software development practices.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication skills for collaboration across engineering teams.
