Responsibilities
- Serve as a technical lead for key consumer-facing ML initiatives.
- Design, build, and expose ML-powered capabilities through GraphQL APIs and REST endpoints.
- Optimize high-performance recommender systems and personalization features.
- Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines and MLOps workflows.
- Develop AI-native and GenAI-powered services to enhance consumer experience.
- Own the design and development of data pipelines and ML model integration.
- Drive API design best practices across the team.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define clear API contracts.
- Mentor and coach engineers on best practices and MLOps principles.
- Contribute to the long-term technical roadmap and drive innovation.
Requirements
- 7+ years of software engineering experience with a focus on consumer-facing ML products.
- Strong hands-on experience with GraphQL and federated GraphQL schema design.
- Deep experience in designing and building RESTful and event-driven APIs.
- Hands-on experience with MLOps tooling such as Metaflow and ArgoCD.
- Strong experience with cloud-native architectures on AWS and Kubernetes.
- Proficient in designing data pipelines and integrating ML models into applications.
- Proven experience with LLMs, RAG, and GenAI in consumer products.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Experience with recommender systems or personalization is a plus.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent.
