Responsibilities
- Architect and implement scalable, low-latency, highly responsive equity swaps trading and lifecycle systems.
- Lead technical design and re-platforming initiatives using modern technologies.
- Ensure robust trade processing, lifecycle event handling, and hedge execution workflows.
- Collaborate with traders, operations, middle office, and global stakeholders to gather and understand business requirements.
- Manage the full software development lifecycle, including sprint planning, backlog grooming, and production deployment.
- Coordinate integration points across global teams.
- Maintain legacy systems while driving modernization initiatives.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, software engineering, or a related field.
- 10+ years of experience in capital markets, preferably in the Synthetic Prime business.
- 10+ years of hands-on programming experience in C++, Java, or C#, preferably in server-side development.
- Strong experience with equity swaps trading across the US, APAC, EMEA, and MENA regions.
- Strong experience with swaps lifecycle management, corporate actions processing, client reporting, regulatory reporting, and compliance frameworks.
- Strong hands-on experience with low-latency systems, multithreading, and real-time systems.
- Strong experience with scalable architecture.
- Experience with cloud platforms, Docker, and Kubernetes is a plus.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, interpersonal skills, collaboration, and the ability to deliver under tight deadlines and high-pressure conditions.
