Base Salary
$121k - $161k/yr
Responsibilities
- Maintain and improve solutions combining simulated and hardware environments to test on-vehicle software behavior.
- Architect, design, and develop simulation software improvements and extensions.
- Improve simulation fidelity so it more accurately reflects actual vehicle behavior.
- Enhance simulation performance and reliability.
- Adapt simulations to new vehicle designs.
- Provide support and consulting to organizational users who depend on the simulators.
Requirements
- University degree in computer science or computer engineering and 5+ years of industry experience, or an advanced degree and 3+ years of experience.
- Significant experience and demonstrable expertise in C++.
- Understanding of Continuous Integration, Continuous Development (CI/CD), and DevOps tools.
- Familiarity with Linux and command-line tools.
- Willingness to be flexible and learn new technologies.
- Preferred: understanding of aircraft and aviation or development in a regulatory environment.
- Preferred: networking experience with VLANs, UDP, and Wireshark.
- Preferred: experience with the Linux scheduler.
- Preferred: experience developing software with Python.
