Base Salary

$182k - $220k/yr

Responsibilities

Drive the architecture, design, and implementation of new features in Ro’s native iOS application.
Build real-time, visually engaging, accessible, and performant experiences for patients managing their health and care.
Partner with design, product, data, and backend engineering to shape the mobile roadmap and own initiatives end to end.
Define and enforce best practices for testing, observability, accessibility, performance optimization, and technical quality.
Improve application performance, scalability, and developer velocity.
Contribute to mobile architecture, CI/CD pipelines, monitoring, and App Store release management.
Mentor engineers through code reviews, pairing, design discussions, and technical guidance.

5+ years of experience building and shipping iOS applications at scale.
Proficiency in Swift, Swift Concurrency, and SwiftUI.
Strong understanding of application architecture, performance optimization, and accessibility principles.
Deep experience with multithreading, async/await, memory management, and unit testing.
Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, monitoring tools, and App Store release processes.
Ability to collaborate effectively with designers, product managers, data partners, and backend engineers.
Strong ownership from technical design and implementation through post-release monitoring and iteration.
Experience mentoring or guiding engineers through technical leadership or peer coaching.
Genuine care for user experience and the ability to select elegant visual solutions aligned with product and design goals.
Bonus: experience in telehealth or other highly regulated industries.
Bonus: experience decoupling monolithic applications into distributed asynchronous services.

The target base salary ranges from $182,300 to $220,000.
