Base Salary
$179k - $291k/yr
Responsibilities
- Drive the AI-native transformation of Roku's advertising business operations.
- Work closely with advertising business stakeholders to identify needs and opportunities.
- Design and ship production ML and agentic systems end-to-end.
- Apply GenAI and LLMs to build and scale Retrieval Augmented Generation pipelines.
- Translate ambiguous business problems into production solutions.
- Build and operationalize evaluation loops for model performance.
- Provide technical leadership and mentor engineers across the ML and AI surface area.
Requirements
- Master's or PhD in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field.
- 8+ years of hands-on engineering experience with ML and AI initiatives.
- Strong foundation in machine learning and statistical modeling.
- Proven experience building and scaling production ML and AI systems.
- Hands-on experience with model design, training, and deployment.
- Demonstrated technical leadership and influence across teams.
- Experience in advertising, marketplaces, or similar data-rich platforms is a plus.
