Responsibilities
- Define scalable end-to-end architectures for tokenization platforms covering user experiences, middleware, indexers, custody, and smart contracts.
- Provide architectural direction for enterprise blockchain nodes, permissioned chains, public EVM and Layer 2 networks, and Blockchain-as-a-Service platforms.
- Author Architectural Decision Records, lead governance reviews, develop target-state architectures and roadmaps, and resolve complex technical decisions.
- Set architectural direction for tokenized real-world assets, smart contract standards, testing, formal verification, upgradeability, and security audit remediation.
- Guide React and Next.js frontends, Web3 integrations, and scalable Node.js, Go, or Rust backend services.
- Define integration strategies for MPC wallets, Hardware Security Modules, account abstraction, social login, and gasless transaction relayers.
- Establish identity, KYC/AML, transfer restriction, transaction monitoring, auditability, and regulatory compliance architecture.
- Lead code reviews, prototypes, testing, integration and build automation, issue resolution, observability, reliability, and production architecture alignment.
- Mentor developers and architects, lead cross-functional initiatives, and provide technical thought leadership across practices and stakeholders.
Requirements
- Undergraduate degree or technical certificate required; graduate degree preferred.
- 10+ years of relevant experience developing a variety of platforms.
- Experience leading architecture for production-grade Web3 or digital asset applications and guiding live tokenization, real-world asset, or institutional custody platforms through production governance.
- Strong understanding of enterprise EVM nodes and blockchain infrastructure platforms such as Hyperledger Besu, Kaleido, or Blockdaemon.
- Experience integrating programmatic MPC wallet infrastructure such as DFNS, Fireblocks, or Turnkey.
- Deep understanding of smart contract security risks, audit governance, and gas optimization tradeoffs.
- Exceptional architecture, collaboration, communication, client-facing, business acumen, and technical leadership capabilities.
- Preferred experience with zero-knowledge proofs including zk-SNARKs and zk-STARKs, institutional settlement systems, FIX, Swift, ISO 20022, open-source Web3 contributions, Ethereum Improvement Proposals, and tokenization standards.
- Preferred certifications in AWS or GCP cloud architecture, blockchain security, or related disciplines.
- Experience with Continuous Integration, Continuous Delivery, pair programming, Test-Driven Development, and unit, integration, and functional testing is an asset.

- Base salary range of $160,000.00-$300,000.00 USD plus potential variable compensation or incentive awards; compensation figures are excluded from benefits classification.
