Responsibilities
- Select, implement, design, and build services and tools for security intelligence.
- Identify, triage, and provide remediation guidance for application vulnerabilities.
- Improve developer tooling and adoption for a robust SSDLC.
- Assist incident response teams with application security expertise.
- Build threat models on Toast applications and use cases.
- Guide the design and maintenance of resilient network and application architecture.
- Collaborate to enhance information gathering and sharing across products.
- Leverage AI tools to improve development workflow and productivity.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in software development.
- Minimum 5+ years of experience in application security and security engineering.
- Experience building and maintaining scaled Java web services in production.
- Experience developing script applications in Python.
- Experience leveraging LLM AI features for software development or security operations.
- Strong understanding of cloud application architecture.
- Successful history as a subject matter expert in security outcomes.
- Previous security experience with fintech applications.
- Strong understanding of privacy, security, and cryptography patterns.
