Responsibilities
- Build, manage, optimize, and troubleshoot CI/CD pipelines and software delivery workflows.
- Implement GitOps workflows with FluxCD or ArgoCD to manage Kubernetes cluster state.
- Deliver cloud-native infrastructure and IT services using AWS GovCloud, Kubernetes, Terraform, Docker, and Helm.
- Support deployments across NIPRNet, SIPRNet, JWICS, C2S, and SC2S security enclaves.
- Integrate container and dependency scanning, enforce DoD cybersecurity directives and NIST controls, and support cATO initiatives.
- Configure Prometheus and Grafana observability, improve platform operations, and execute backup, restore, and disaster-recovery plans.
- Travel up to 20% to client sites, customer locations, and industry conferences.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or Cybersecurity.
- At least 3 years of experience in software deployment, software engineering, DevOps, or DevSecOps engineering.
- U.S. citizenship and the ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government Security Clearance.
- Proficiency with AWS or other cloud services, Kubernetes, Docker, and Linux/Bash scripting.
- Hands-on experience with GitLab CI/CD or alternative CI/CD frameworks.
- Experience with Infrastructure-as-Code paradigms is preferred.
- Experience with Air Force Platform One, Iron Bank hardened containers, and AWS C2S/SC2S environments is preferred.
- An active IAT Level II or IAM Level II certification, such as Security+ CE, CySA+, or CISSP, is preferred.
- Familiarity with Anchore, Trivy, SonarQube, Prometheus, Grafana, GitLab, and Okta is preferred.
- Ability to work flexible hours during deployment windows or operational mission needs.
