Responsibilities
- Analyze, design, document, code, and test assigned software tasks of moderate to high complexity.
- Develop and maintain efficient, maintainable C++ and SQL code.
- Write and optimize complex SQL queries and participate in system and database design.
- Develop unit tests, integration tests, and prototypes as needed.
- Ensure software solutions meet technical and business requirements.
- Provide task estimates and status updates, participate in code reviews and design walkthroughs, and troubleshoot technical issues across the stack.
- Collaborate with Product Owners, QA, Solution Architects, and distributed development teams.
Requirements
- At least 4 years of professional software development experience with C++.
- Strong knowledge of SQL and experience with relational databases.
- Experience with the Windows API and MFC.
- Strong understanding of object-oriented programming and design.
- Experience working with distributed teams.
- Familiarity with JSON and XML.
- Experience with automated unit and integration testing.
- Experience with multi-tier and distributed systems is preferred.
- PL/SQL and Java development experience are advantageous.
- Exposure to event-driven and asynchronous processing models is preferred.
- Strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
