Responsibilities

Build and launch a consumer membership web application on Shopify and Recharge and own its ongoing maintenance.
Monitor and optimize storefront page speed, application performance, bundle size, and third-party scripts and pixels.
Configure tracking and consent tools to support privacy compliance, including CPRA and GDPR data handling.
Own engineering architecture, technology choices, security decisions, databases, and vendor or contractor selection.
Lead development of an iOS-first React Native consumer application from the ground up.
Build production LLM-powered agents and internal automation tools with evaluation frameworks, monitoring, and human-in-the-loop safeguards.
Use AI, automation, and low-code tools to reduce manual operational work across the company.
Work directly with the CEO on high-priority product and infrastructure problems.

At least 3 years of full-stack engineering experience shipping consumer products to production.
Strong proficiency in TypeScript and React, with shipped production applications.
Proficiency in Python or Node.js and a record of writing fast, reliable code.
Hands-on experience with Shopify and Recharge integration.
Experience building and shipping consumer-facing React Native applications, ideally with an iOS-first focus.
Expertise in web performance optimization, including page speed, bundle size, and third-party script management.
Experience implementing privacy compliance tooling, consent management, and CPRA or GDPR data handling.
Ability to make architectural and security decisions independently with minimal guidance.
Familiarity with AI-powered development tools, LLM agent frameworks, and automation workflows is preferred.
5 to 10 or more years of overall software engineering experience is preferred.
Degree in engineering, computer science, or mathematics, or equivalent demonstrated experience shipping software products.
