Responsibilities
- Design and implement reports and data feeds for the Murex Rates and Credit platform using Murex reporting modules and RBC tools.
- Collaborate with business analysts, technical leads, vendor resources, and IT partners on the Murex Rates project.
- Implement scheduling and automation of data extraction jobs using Control-M, processing scripts, and Unix scripting.
- Create and improve detailed technical design documentation.
- Create and execute test cases for implemented work.
- Identify operational risks and control deficiencies and escalate them to appropriate managers and risk functions.
- Review and comply with applicable firm policies.
Requirements
- 5+ years of hands-on Murex experience, version 3.1 or later, focused on Datamart reporting, MRB, processing scripts, trade valuation and risk, P&L Explain, and simulation screens.
- 3+ years of SQL experience with Sybase.
- 2+ years of hands-on experience with Python, Java, Solace, MQ, Spring, Sybase, GitHub, and Jenkins.
- Experience with JSON, REST API interfaces, microservices, unit testing, and integration testing.
- Experience leading or mentoring a team.
- Exposure to analytics and quantitative finance, strong problem-solving skills, and an understanding of financial products and trade risk management.
- Ability to learn new technologies and business knowledge, work independently, and adapt to change while maintaining business priorities.
