Responsibilities
- Design and develop maintainable software components using Java, Spring Boot, and Python.
- Build and consume REST APIs with Spring Boot and Flask, including Python and NumPy data-processing components.
- Apply multithreading, concurrency, asynchronous programming, and software design patterns.
- Write and execute unit tests with JUnit and Mockito and perform API integration testing.
- Implement CI/CD pipelines, quality gates, and security-tool integrations.
- Deploy and operate applications on Azure using Docker and Kubernetes.
- Troubleshoot issues across development, test, and production environments.
- Provide code reviews, pairing, and informal guidance to junior engineers.
- Collaborate with cross-functional and related teams to define, design, and ship features.
Requirements
- 2–4 years of strong experience in Java, Spring Boot, RDBMS, and NoSQL.
- Solid Python and NumPy experience for building data-oriented services.
- Experience designing, building, and operating REST and Flask APIs.
- Experience with software design patterns, memory and garbage-collection optimization, and database query analysis.
- Hands-on experience with messaging and queuing.
- Proficiency with JUnit and experience using Postman for API integration testing.
- Experience integrating quality gates and security tools into CI/CD processes.
- Hands-on experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and Azure Cloud services.
- Experience using AI-assisted tools in the software development lifecycle.
- Strong problem-solving, communication, teamwork, and attention-to-detail skills; familiarity with Agile development methodologies.
