Base Salary
$157k - $215k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, troubleshoot, and deliver secure, scalable software solutions across multiple technical areas.
- Develop, review, debug, and maintain high-quality production code.
- Lead adoption and validation standards for enterprise-authorized AI-assisted coding, code review, testing, and troubleshooting tools.
- Identify and automate recurring issue remediation to improve application and system stability.
- Evaluate vendor, startup, and internal architectural designs and technical credentials.
- Coach engineers on responsible, secure, and compliant use of AI-assisted software development practices.
Requirements
- Formal training or certification in software engineering concepts and 5+ years of applied experience.
- Hands-on experience with system design, application development, testing, and operational stability.
- Proficiency with React, JavaScript, Java, Spring Boot, microservices, RabbitMQ, Kafka, and Kubernetes.
- Experience leading the safe and effective use of approved AI-assisted software development tools.
- Understanding of responsible AI use, data sensitivity, secure input and output handling, resiliency, and security expectations.
- Strong understanding of application resiliency, security, CI/CD, cloud-native, and distributed technologies.
- Experience developing, debugging, and maintaining code in a large corporate environment using modern programming and database querying languages.
- Preferred: modern frontend experience, financial services IT knowledge, cloud and distributed technology exposure, and proficiency across the software development life cycle.
